Today's Topic gonna be quite interesting because we are going to learn about a very very fantastic field which is MEDICAL FIELD. It is one of the reputed and respected professional fields in India and abroad.

The word itself gives us an interesting image in mind like, How the doctors are doing surgery in Operation Theatre, how the doctors are diagnosing a patient, and many more.

When we talk about medical,  an image of an MBBS rises in our mind.

MEDICAL COURSES

The Medical Field contains a broad range of academic education other than MBBS. It includes certificate courses, medical diploma courses, bachelor's degree courses, master's degree courses, and many short-time knowledge booster courses for medical professionals. Candidates having PCB or PCMB group in their +2 can appear in the NEET UG exam for admission to the top medical colleges of the country. NEET UG is the only National level medical entrance test after the 12th.

It is an expanded field of educational study and there are so many courses including medical diploma courses, degree courses, certificate courses, lab technical courses & other medical technology courses.

JOBS & CAREER

The healthcare industry is very large, and also Medical courses are in demand and fast growing. It is a hard-working field but a reputed one also. The patients are being cured 24×7.

This career is divided at the levels, how your education is in the medical field. Whether you have a diploma or bachelor's degree or master's degree, you are in a race with a good horse chasing a great career.

LIST OF MEDICAL COURSES

The best Medical Courses are the following:

1.) M.B.B.S (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery)

MBBS is a bachelor's degree in the medical field for a cure and diagnosis. It takes 4.5+1 years to complete. It's Latin full form is MBBS - Medicinae Baccalaureus Baccalaureus Chirurgiae.

2.) B.D.S (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)

BDS is a professional degree programme in dentistry. It takes 4+1 years to complete.

3.) B.H.M.S (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery)

BHMS is an undergraduate degree programme in which candidates gain knowledge of Homeopathy medicine and surgery. It takes 5.5+1 years to complete.

4.) B.A.M.S (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery)

BAMS is an undergraduate degree programme designed to make students familiar with the concepts of Ayurveda and use them for the treatment of patients. It takes 5.5+1 years to complete.

5.) B.U.M.S (Bachelor in Unani Medicine and Surgery)

BUMS is an undergraduate degree equivalent to BAMS but in Unani Medicine. A candidate aspiring for BUMS course must have passed Intermediate (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry & Biology. Urdu is compulsory up to 10th class or equivalent education. It takes 4.5 + 1 year.

6.) M.D (Doctor of Medicine)

MD is a Postgraduate degree programme, this degree is awarded to doctors who are physicians. The minimum eligibility for this course is MBBS. It takes 3 years.

7.) M.S (Master of Surgery)

MS is also a Postgraduate degree programme, this degree is awarded to doctors who master in surgery. The minimum eligibility for this course is MBBS. It also takes 3 years.

8.) D.M (Doctorate in Medicine)

DM is a doctorate equivalent to a Ph.D. degree. It is a course that students pursue after completing their postgraduate medical course. Only those candidates who have completed their MD or MS are eligible to pursue a Doctorate of Medicine as a super specialty degree. It takes 3 years to complete.

9.) B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy)

B.Pharm is an Undergraduate programme in which students study the methods and process of preparing drugs and how the dispensing of medicine and drugs take place. For this course, the Candidate must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks with biology/mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects, or D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy). It takes 4 years.

10.) B.Sc. Nursing (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with a minimum of 45% marks. The motive of B.Sc. The nursing program is to produce qualified nurses, as a member of the health care team. It takes 4 years.

11.) B.P.T (Bachelors In Physiotherapy)

B.P.T. is an undergraduate course involving the science of physical movement aimed at preventing disease and disability. Physiotherapy helps temporarily disabled people in their rehabilitation. It takes 4 years including compulsory 6 months of clinical internship.

12.) B.O.T (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy)

Occupational Therapy helps people to enable in themselves their everyday life and treats emotionally and physically challenged people. They are responsible for conducting treatment so that the patients can enjoy their life without any hindrance. It takes 4 years and 6 months of compulsory rotatory internship.

13.) B.M.L.T (Bachelor of Medical Lab Technicians)

It is a bachelor's degree in medical laboratory technology and contains the entire laboratory practices of the medical system. The candidate must have cleared the 10+2 exam with PCB. It takes 3 years to complete.

14.) D.M.L.T (Diploma of Medical Lab Technicians)

It is a medical diploma course in medical laboratory technology and contains the laboratory practices of the medical field. The Candidate must have cleared the 10+2 exam with PCB. It takes 1 year to complete.
