Hello Beautiful people,
Today's Topic is gonna be different. So I shall begin by giving you my regards. If you approach this blog with a lot of curiosity, true intention, and pure heart, it is well-accomplished.
That you had decided to spend some time with it here, two things become immediately clear. So Let's Begin our today's Reading...
Basic Intro to Personality Development
Firstly, It is obvious that you desire to improve your personality. If you didn't have this desire, you would not waste time here.
Secondly, If you are trying to improve your personality, it means that you are aware that your personality may lack a few things, but these are things that can be improved upon.
There are two psychological aspects to this though it includes within itself the feeling that something is lacking in your personality and it also suggests that these deficiencies can be eliminated.
Believe me when I say only an empty glass can be filled with water. The Glass has to be empty to hold the liquid. Your act of reading the blog in front with an alert consciousness points toward this particular fact. And this is why I have given you my regards because I believe your pure emotion is worth congratulating.
I will attempt to make you believe that Personality Development has benefited not just individuals but also society. We can reap even more benefits if we develop our personality while striking a balance between a good life and a successful one. Remember, a good life can still be a successful one, but a successful life doesn't need to be a good life.
ELEMENTS OF PERSONALITY
Since you have decided to read the book and if you read it till the end, you will definitely gain something whether you want to or not. When it rains, even if it is just a drizzle and no water is absorbed by the roots of a plant, at least the dust on its leaves is cleaned by tiny droplets of water, making the leaves shine greener.
You must have seen early winter mornings, and you had realized that nothing is visible on the road. You rub your eyes and try to see further ahead. Nothing. But in a little, while you will see a tiny ray of light coming toward the road, and you assume it must be a bike. As the light draws nearer, your guess was right, it is indeed a bike.
Then you go on to assume that someone is riding the bike, presumably a young man. Both your assumption proves right. The bike past your house and that marks the end of this incident.
From the above example, we can understand some important elements of personality -
- Firstly, whatever people perceive our personality, it is based on their judgment. Just like the way you guessed in the example.
- Secondly, What people judge about someone's personality, is not always correct. You could figure out that someone is riding a bike, but could not tell precisely who the person was.
- The third and most important thing is that when it comes to improving your personality, you don't need any add-ons a beautiful sculptor did not require anything from outside it is made from that rock, which is hiding its beauty, the rock only needs carving.
The aspects of your personality that you want to build will rise from within you.
WHAT IS PERSONALITY?
Before you start the journey of developing your personality, I feel it is important that you know the roadmap for the journey. You should know the purpose of the journey you are about to take. I believe that whatever task you do in your life, you should be aware of why you are doing it. What do you hope to achieve by doing it?
The term personality is derived from the Latin word "persona" which means to speak through. An Individual's personality is the combination of traits and patterns that influence their behavior, thought, motivation, and emotion.
I would like to praise by clapping the person who translated the word 'personality' into the Hindi language. The Hindi word for personality is 'vyaktitva'. It is made up of two words 'vyakti'(man) + 'tatva' (substance).
SO PERSONALITY MEANS 'THE ESSENCE OF MAN'
Which means the Inherit nature of man or humans or anything. Here Essence means the nature of anything or inherits nature.
Now, let's discuss the other word: development. Together the term is called personality development. So basically development is like an event constituting a new stage in a changing situation. So it is like we are going into a constituting stage in which we are developing our personality.
Before you proceed towards the development of
your personality, you should clear the purpose of this journey in your mind In
general, there could be two purposes behind personality development -
1. To look smart
2. To Impress
CHARACTERISTICS OF PERSONALITY
The term personality is used in various
senses.
Generally, it is used to indicate the external
outlook of an individual. In philosophy, it means internal quality.
But in social psychology, the term personality
indicates-neither the external or outward pattern nor does it indicate the
internal quality. It means an integrated whole. In the modem world and
psychology, it has come to indicate the sum total of an individual’s characteristics
and qualities.
Various thinkers, social psychologists, and
others have defined personality in various ways. It is a sum of physical,
mental, and social qualities in an integrated manner.
Thus, personality is the sum of the ideas,
attitudes, and values of a person which determine his role in society and form
an integral part of his character. Personality is acquired by the individual as
a result of his participation in group life. It refers to something much more
essential and enduring about a person.
Beyond this basic point of agreement, personality has other characteristics or features in common.
·Personality is something that is unique in each individual.
·Personality refers particularly to the persistent qualities of an individual.
·Personality represents a dynamic orientation of an organism to
the environment.
·Personality is greatly influenced by social interactions.
·Personality represents a unique organization of persistent dynamic and social predisposition.
·Consistency.
·Psychological and physiological.
·It impacts behaviors and actions.
·Multiple expressions.
Personality is something that is unique in each individual
Personality refers to
internal as well as external qualities, some of which are quite general. But it
is unique to each individual. It is not possible for a person to reproduce or
imitate the qualities of the personality of another person.
Personality refers particularly to the persistent qualities of an individual
Every individual has a
certain feeling as well as other permanent traits and qualities.
Personality is mainly
composed of persistent or permanent qualities that exhibit themselves in the form of social behavior and attempt to make an adjustment to the environment.
Personality represents a dynamic orientation of an organism to the environment
Personality represents
the process of learning. It takes place in reference to the environment. We do
not acquire all the traits of personality at once.
Personality is greatly influenced by social interactions
Personality is not an
individual quality. It is a result of social- interaction.
In other words, it
means that when we come in contact with other members of society, we acquire
certain qualities while We exhibit certain others. All these come to form
personality.
Personality represents a unique organization of persistent dynamic and social predisposition
In personality,
various qualities are not put together.
They are, in fact,
integrated into one. This integration is nothing but a result of organization
which may be different from man to man. The behavior of a person directed to
one particular individual may differ from the behavior of another person.
That is why; we put
the condition of a suitable environment. This suitability is concerned with
individual specificity.
Consistency
There is generally a
recognizable order and regularity to behaviors. Essentially, people act in the
same ways or similar ways in a variety of situations.
In fact, our personality changes over long periods.
So, I have discussed a few points here, but there are many things to add to it. In fact, if we take each sentence, then one thing can lead to many others.
I'm just trying to explain the criteria of an influential personality to you here so that in the future you are able to evaluate yourself on this basis. I will also publish second part of this article.
So That's it for Today's Blog
I Hope You Like IT.
